"There is a fundamental problem with this app in that on some home networks it can't find the Freesat box to enable you to use remote control functions. There's many reviews pointing out this issue going back for some time but nothing is done about it. It seems that it is an issue with the search - I've had a similar issue with another app not finding my NAS box, but on that, when the search failed it gave you the option to enter the IP address of the box manually. Why can't Freesat do the same? If they can't work out why the searches fail it would be a very easy workaround."

"I used to be able to program recordings whilst out and about. Now it lets you press the record button but they never actually record on the box. I've uninstalled the app, tried over wi-fi and 4g/5g but it won't work as it used to."

"This app is very poor and has very poor remote control function using the app. It doesn't even have a 'info' button to display program synopsis information on the program you are looking to view or record. It also keeps loosing connection and you have to force the app to close and reopen it. It's about time the developer replied to the feedback given by numerous users. I can only see one reply in months."

"keeps forgetting the remote control box setting, it remembers the box it's connected to, I have to search nearly every time it is opened. its very good otherwise feb 25th 22 I don't know if it is something I have done or the app has been altered but it is working now"
